Our vans carry specialist tools and commonly used spare parts. We aim to repair equipment at your home or workplace where possible. Tell us about access to the property and where the equipment is kept, particularly if moving it is difficult.

Routine Servicing & Fault Repairs

We work on mobility scooters, powerchairs, manual wheelchairs and rise and recline chairs. Whether you are arranging routine servicing or reporting a fault, give us the make, model and a description of what you have noticed. Include any error code, changes in charging or unusual behaviour.

We can discuss whether an on-site visit is appropriate and whether parts may be needed. Some jobs require more detailed work at our workshop; we will explain the arrangements for equipment that cannot be repaired during the visit.

Support While Equipment Is in the Workshop

For equipment bought from Saltire Mobility that needs workshop repairs, we will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement free of charge, subject to availability. Confirm availability when booking, especially if you depend on your equipment every day.

Insurance work is welcomed, and we are authorised by most major insurers to carry out repairs. Let us know if your repair involves a claim. For other temporary equipment needs, our hire service may be an option.
